【Abstract】 In this paper, a novel image similarity is defined and deduced based on the orthogonal Proscrustes problem. The image similarity degree (ISD) is the possibility that one image can be rotated into another.An algorithm of image similarity degree is briefly proposed;meanwhile the algorithm is used to detect ships in lock and to classify and search faces. The experimental results show that the new image similarity is effective and satisfactory.更多还原
