【Abstract】 Based on the strategies of Digital Earth and Digital China, the present information situation of mines is analyzed in China. Based on the international informatization level of mines and the development of remote control mining technology, and combined with the strategy and plan of national informatization development of China during 2001～2005, the opportunity and challenge mines facing with are analyzed. So the certainty and necessity of the construction of Digital Mine (DM) are pointed out. In consideration of the science and technology innovation and practical demands of mines, four present tasks for DM construction are suggested. And in view of the competition of modern enterprises, the four benefits that mines will obtain from DM construction are also discussed.更多还原
