M2钢离子氮化与离子镀TiN复合涂层的高温滑动磨损特性
High Temperature Friction and Wear Behaviors of Composite Coating of Ion Nitriding and Ion Plating TiN on M2 Substrate
【摘要】 研究了 M2高速钢基体上离子氮化和离子镀 Ti N复合涂层在 50 0~ 70 0℃下的高温滑动磨损特性 .利用 XRD分析了涂层的相结构 ,用划痕法测定了涂层的结合力 ,并用 SEM观察分析了涂层磨损表面形貌和磨损机理 .结果表明 :离子氮化与离子镀 Ti N复合涂层的结合力和硬度均高于 Ti N涂层 ;其高温耐磨性优于 Ti N涂层 ;随温度升高 ,各涂层的磨损率和摩擦系数均上升 .离子氮化过渡层对 Ti N涂层起到有力的支撑作用 .涂层的主要磨损机制为粘着磨损、磨粒磨损和氧化磨损 .
【Abstract】 The friction and wear behaviors of TiN composite coating with ion nitriding interlayer on M2 steel substrate sliding against AISI52100 steel at temperatures from 500 ℃ to 700 ℃ were invesigated on an MG 200 high temperature friction and wear tester. The phase structure and adhesion strength of TiN coating were examined by means of X ray diffraction and scratch test. The morphologies of the worn surfaces of TiN composite coating and wear mechanism were observed and analyzed by means of scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersion spectroscopy. The results show that the adhesion strength and hardness of TiN composite coating with ion nitriding interlayer are higher than that of TiN coating. Ion nitriding interlayer provides a stronger support for TiN coating. The wear resistance of TiN composite coating is better than that of TiN coating as well. With increasing of temperature, the wear rates and friction coefficients rise to some extent. The main wear mechanisms of TiN composite coating are adhesion transfer, abrasive wear and oxidation. The adhesion transfer and oxidation become more severe with test temperature increasing.
