含镍碳化硅复合材料的干摩擦特性

【摘要】 采用销 -盘摩擦磨损试验机 ,在 1 5~ 6 0 0℃范围内 ,对反应烧结碳化硅 (Si/Si C)及含镍碳化硅 (Si/Si C- Ni)复合材料的干摩擦性能进行了研究 .结果表明 ,Ni使 Si/Si C复合材料的摩擦学性能得到改善 ,且 Si C的粒度越小 ,Si/Si C- Ni复合材料的自润滑性能越好 .同时通过对磨屑的 X射线相分析和磨损表面形貌与成分的扫描电子显微镜 /能谱分析 ,考察了 Si/Si C和 Si/Si C- Ni复合材料的干摩擦过程

【Abstract】 The friction and wear behaviors of reaction sintered Si/SiC and its composites doped with Ni(Si/SiC Ni) in dry sliding were investigated in a temperature range of 15~600 ℃ on a pin on disc tribometer. It has been found that Si/SiC Ni composite made from SiC of smaller grit size has good self lubricity and wear resistance at high temperature as compared with Si/SiC at the same conditions. The inclusion of Ni has margin effect on the friction behavior of Si/SiC composite made from SiC of larger grit size but decreases its wear rate greatly. XRD analysis of the wear debris and SEM observation of the worn composite surfaces indicate that the oxides such as NiO, Ni 2O 3, and SiO 2 generated during the friction process at 600 ℃ account for the good self lubricity of SiC Ni composite at high temperature, whicle SiC primarily acts to carry load and increase the wear resistance of the composite.
