【Abstract】 Coated fertilizer, slow release fertilizer, controlled release fertilizer and controlled availability fertilizer are discriminated. It is discussed that the release rate of slow release nitrogen fertilizer in water cannot represent the longevity of fertilizer for the growing plant. According to analysis of the fertilizersoilplant relationship and investigation into the longevity of Luxacote@ in turf in USA, a new method has been adopted for evaluating the longevity of controlled release fertilizer.更多还原
