【Abstract】 With a background of the severe shortage of forest and the urgent need for its protection in China,the substitution for wood is attracting increasing attention. This paper demonstrates that great effortsshould be made to accelerate the development of plantations and promote wood saving, while it is inadvisableto propagate the substitution for wood in general, get rid of wood in its important utilization areas, and promote the substitution of un-repnducible materials for wood.更多还原
