颅内钙化磁共振信号变化的临床观察

【摘要】 目的 探讨颅内钙化的MRI信号变化和MRI对钙化病灶的检出敏感性。材料与方法 搜集 44例颅内钙化病例的CT和MRI资料 ,其中 2 9例行MRI增强扫描 ,钙化病灶共 5 3枚。结果  (1)MRIT1WI和T2 WI对钙化的检出敏感性为 84.9% ,其中T2 WI检出率明显高于T1WI(P =0 .0 0 0 11) ;大病灶的检出率明显高于小病灶 (P <0 .0 5 )。 (2 )钙化在MRIT1WI和T2 WI均可显示为高、等、低和极低等 4种信号 ,T1WI以等信号和低信号较多见 ;T2 WI以低信号和极低信号多见。 (3)基底节区钙化灶多表现为高T1WI信号。(4)钙化病灶的大小可对MRIT2 WI信号产生影响 ,原发疾病的性质与MRI信号变化无关。 (5 ) 9/ 31(2 9% )的钙化可出现强化。结论 钙化的MRI信号多变 ,钙化的分布、大小可对MRI信号产生影响 ,MRIT1WI和T2 WI钙化检出敏感性为 84.9%。

【Abstract】 Objective To evaluate MRI signal variances of intracranial calcification and the sensitivity of MRI in detecting calcified lesions.Materials and Methods CT and MRI data of 44 cases with intracranial calcifications were collected, of which enhanced MR scanning was performed in 29 cases. A total of 53 calcified lesions were found.Results (1) The sensitivity of MRI T 1WI and T 2WI in detecting intracranial calcification was 84.9%, with T 2WI being more sensitive than T 1WI (P=0.00011). Large lesions were much easier demonstrated than small ones (P<0.05). (2) Calcifications displayed hyper , iso , hypo or very low signal intensity on both T 1WI and T 2WI images, although iso and hypointensity was often seen on T 1WI, and hypointensity and very low signal intensity was often seen on U 2WI. (3) Calcified lesions at basal ganglia usually showed high signal intensity on T 1WI. (4) T 2WI signal could be affected by the size of the lesions but there was no evidence to indicate that the signal variances had any relation to original diseases. (5) 29% calcified lesions (9/31) could be enhanced.Conclusion The signal intensity of intracranial calcifications is variable, being affected by the locations and sizes of the lesions. The MRI sensitivity in detecting intracranial calcifications is 84.9% on T 1WI and T 2WI.
