【Abstract】 This article,which is divided into four parts,mainly discuss the relationship between the modern returned law students and the New China’s legal construction:Ⅰ. The reason why the modern returned law students chose to stay in mainland China rather than to go to Taiwan with the Kuomintang(KMT) government; Ⅱ. The achievement that the modern returned law students offered to the legislation, law enforcement and legal education of the New China; Ⅲ. The suffering that the modern returned law students had from their way of life in the Anti-Rightist Struggle in 1957; Ⅳ.
