【Abstract】 A thermal transfer mathematical model based on the solidification of Q235A steel beam blanks has been developed; effects of process parameters on the solidification of beam blanks in the mould and in the secondary cooling zone are analysed; and the optimum cooling pattern is established based on the characteristics of concasters through tests. The mathematical model on the volume of secondary cooling water based on desired temperature curves and control of liquid core length has been derived.更多还原
