【Abstract】 Mullite is a promising protective coating for SiC ceramic in high temperature environments. Formation of mullite on SiC substrate via Sol Gel method is investigated in this paper. The phase of the coating is studied by X ray analysis. The oxidation resistance of the coated SiC specimens is 2 times higher than that of uncoated specimens.更多还原
