青藏高原地壳低速层的物理性质
The Physical Properties of Crustal Low Velocity Layer in Qinghai Xizang Plateau
【摘要】 在相当于青海—西藏高原地壳低速层埋藏深度(20 ~30 km) 的压力条件下进行了角闪岩的变形实验。实验表明,当加热到800℃、1000 ℃时,角闪岩出现塑性变形,并进入稳定蠕动应变状态。由于岩石的塑性变形、弱化和强度的减小,以及从岩石中脱出的水的参与,这个带就成了地壳中的薄弱层和低速层。
【Abstract】 Deformation experiment of amphibole shows that ,under conditions of pressure that is similar to the depth at which crustal low velocity layer of the Qinghai Xizang plateau is buried (20 30 km), and temperature heated to 800℃and 1000℃,amphibolite undergoes plastic deformation and enters steady creep strain states. Due to the plastic deformation, weakening and strength decline of rocks,and participation of water released from rocks, this zone becomes a weak interlayer in the crust and crustal low velocity.
