【Abstract】 The development status of Geomatics industry is introduced. The Community’s demands for Geomatics industry are analyzed. According to the local conditions of Yunnan Province, the problems and development tactics of Geomatics industry are proposed in this paper. These include: paying attention to the important function of surveying and mapping in the development of geomatics industry, attaching importance to the training of technicians, founding Yunnan GIS association, establishing Yunnan basic geographic information systems, and so on.更多还原
