【Abstract】 This paper gives a redescription and generic distribution of the genus Uraecha Thomson. One new species, Uraecha longzhouensis , is described. A key to nine Chinese species is also given. The type specimen is deposited in the Insect Collection of Southwest Agricultural University. Uraecha longzhouensis , sp. nov. (Figs.1～4) Length: 17 mm; breadth: 4.5 mm. This new species is similar to U. angusta (Pascoe, 1865), but it can be easily distinguished from the latter by the following characters: body covered with yellowish brown pubescence instead of reddish brown pubescence; antennae blackish brown on first several segments instead of the same color on the whole length; elytron decorated with black marking which rimmed with ocherous pubescence instead of a blackish brown oblique marking; ventral margin of median orifice narrowly rounded instead of rounded. Holotype ♂, Lnongzhou (22°21′N, 106°53′E), Guangxi Province, 30-V-1997, coll. Yang Maofa. The new species name refers to type locality, Longzhou, Guangxi Province of China.更多还原
