【摘要】 众所周知,实体-关系(E-R)方法是数据库概念模式设计中一种非常实用的方法,它具有图形表示、分析容易、抽象性好、易读等优点。本文给出了一个基于E-R方法的时态数据模型,即时态实体-关系(TER)模型。TER模型不仅具有实体-关系模型的优点,而且还具备面向对象模型所具有的很多性质,表达能力强。此外,我们还讨论了TER的实现,为目前正努力实现的一个功能强大的面向对象的TDBMS打下了良好的基础。更多还原

【Abstract】 It is well-known that the Entity Relationship method is a very useful one in conceptual database designs.It uses graphic display,and is easy to analyze, to design,and to read. In this paper, we give a temporal ER - method - based data model, that is the Temporal Entity Relationship model(TER). TER model not only has the properties of the Entity - Relationship model, but also possesses those of the object-oriented model,with a powerful ability for expression. Furthermore, we discuss the implementation of TER, which lays a good foundation for the goal of realizing a powerful object-oriented TDBMS.更多还原
