【Abstract】 This paper analyzed the transmission characteristics of high speed gears and the reason of tooth dressing.The designing principle of tooth (profile and direction of tooth)dressing of high speed spur or helical gears and the empirical formulas for calculating the dressing quantity have been further studied.It is verified by practics of production that tooth dressing is advantageous to solve the problems of vibration and noise of high speed gears transmission.The conclusion of research possesses universal guiding significance.更多还原
