【Abstract】 Hydroquinone and benzyl chloride in EtOH,adding an appropriate amount of KOH-EtOH,was refluxed to give the mixture of hydroquinone dibenzyl ether(Ⅰ) and p benzyloxyphenol(Ⅱ).When the molar ratio of hydroquinone and benzyl chloride was 1∶3,the yield of Ⅰ was over 70% while that of Ⅱ less than 5%.Their IR spectrograms showed that Ⅱ had a peak of —OH at 3386.8 cm -1 while Ⅰ had not.更多还原
