【摘要】 分析了文件方式管理的Internet导航系统所存在的问题 ,结合ChIN化学导航系统应用和管理的需求 ,采用关系数据库技术进行网页数据的管理。建立了基于数据库的ChIN维护系统ChIN Manager,协助编辑人员完成数据的编辑、分类、自动发布等操作 ,提高了ChIN的日常工作和维护效率。本文介绍ChIN Manager和由此自动生成的网页的一些特点。更多还原

【Abstract】 Computer aided information management and publishing can play an important role in an Internet chemical information navigator, which can be of help for editors to concentrate on the content of the data and the relavancy among the resources. ChIN is an Internet chemical resources navigator, which mainly consists of HTML documents. ChIN’s maintenance relies heavily on the HTML editor at present, which has become more and more difficult for editors to keep ChIN up to date as the size of ChIN grows rapidly. To improve the efficiency of ChIN, a database based software ChIN Manager has been created. With the aid of ChIN Manager, it is easy and efficient for the editors to accomplish their daily work, including data editing, categorizing, and automated publishing.
