【Abstract】 In this paper, the factors which influence the reaction in the synthesis of salicylal from air oxidation of saligenol prepared by boric acid esterification have been investigated, such as the selection of dehydrating agent, the proportion of materials, the amount of metaformalde hyde ,the reaction temperature and the condition of oxidation.
