【Abstract】 Data warehouse maintenance algorithms usually work off-line, making the warehouse unavailable to users. In this paper, we present an online warehouse update algorithm-STNL STNL eliminates the limitation of other online warehouse update algorithm that a latch has to be held on the tuple, when the tuple is modified by the maintenance transaction.
