【Abstract】 CORBA is a widely accepted distributed computing specification,on which interoperability between heterogeneous computer platforms can be accomplished. The performance of CORBA-based application system is strongly dependent on object location and manual assignment of objects is impractial. In order to improve performance of CORBA-based distributed system,load-balancing problem must be considered. Firstly,two approaches that can be used to design load-balanced CORBA application are discussed in detail. On that basis,a general model of dynamic load balancing based on trading service is proposed. Not only load balancing is implemented in this model,but also the extension of trading service is transparent to application developers and the original applications can be integrated with it without any modification. At the end,analysis of scalability of this model is given.更多还原
