【摘要】 讨论了 ＷＷＷ搜索引擎的分布式信息收集技术，提出了最佳机器人作用范围划分的概念，给出了实用的信息收集代价估算方法和实现最佳机器人作用范围划分的具体算法。

【Abstract】 This paper discusses the problem of distributed information gathering of WWW search engine, presents the ideal of best working area partition of WWW distributed information gathering robots and gives several methods for estimating the cost of WWW information gathering and an algorithm to implement the best partition.
