【Abstract】 Considering the contradiction between the demand for education by the social and economic development in Jiangsu province, and the limited capacity of education which can satisfy this demand, it is of great importance to build the life long education system in Jiangsu province. Considering the level of economic development, the level of education in general, and the good tradition of respecting teachers and emphasizing education in this province, there are excellent condition and foundation to build the life long education system here.
