一种提高重建图像质量的分形压缩编码方法

【摘要】 对分形图像压缩编码过程中拼贴误差与重建误差的关系进行了研究。提出了一种建立在误差间隙控制方法基础上的、不需增加任何附加比特(即压缩比不降低)就可以减小拼贴误差的方法。该方法在有效降低误差间隙的同时,能减小重建误差,提高重建图像的质量。仿真实验表明,在编码时间基本相同的前提下,误差间隙可由0.29~0.37降低到0.01~0.17,重建图像峰值信噪比(PSNR)约提高0.513~1.634 dB。

【Abstract】 Through a relation analysis of paste error and reconstruction error during the process of fractal image compression coding, based on the controlling of error space, the paper presents a decreasing paste error method which need no additional bits (i. e. No change of the compression radio). The error space is effectively reduced, and simultaneously, the reconstruction error reduced and the reconstruction quality increased.Simulation results show that based on the approximately same coding time, the error space is decreased from 0. 29 - 0. 37 to 0. 01 - 0. 17 and the PSNR of reconstruction image has an increase of 0. 513 1. 634.
