【Abstract】 Fan Li helped Yue (a state in the Zhou Dynasty) to defeat Wu (a state in the Zhou Dynasty), then gave up office and engaged in trading. His motivation was to be in good faith of Xi Shi, and his principle of action was " taking the favourable climate and geographical position" and "relying on benevolence". All these were in conformity with the moral standard of Confucian school in pre-Qin period, and they are also the reasons of Fan Li’s being regarded as scholar merchant by later generations.更多还原
