基于频谱幅度编码的光学码分多址通信系统
Optical Code Division Multiplexed Access Systems Based on Spectral Amplitude Encoding
【摘要】 对一种利用非相干光源的频谱幅度进行编码的光学码分多址 (OCDMA)通信系统进行了研究 ,相对于以前提出的基于超短光脉冲的时域编码OCDMA通信系统而言 ,不但能充分利用光纤的带宽 ,而且可以降低系统的成本 .此外 ,对光源的频谱形状对通信系统性能的影响进行了实验研究
【Abstract】 The optical code division multiplex access communication system, which encodes the spectral amplitude of incoherent optical sources , is proposed. Compared with the prevenient system encoding the information in the time domain by ultra short pluses, the OCDMA system works with low cost incoherent sourcs and encodes orthogonal signaling. The system not only utilizes the bandwith of fiber well, but also reduces the cost of system. The effect of spectral shape of light source on system performance is also studied.
