【Abstract】 Mo Di was a famous thinker, statesman and educationist of our country in ancient times. There were a lot of distinguishing features in his educational thought: He regarded the princes, dukes, ministers as well as the common people as his educational objects; he regarded teaching and bringing up worthies or sweethearts as his educational purpose; he emphasized the effect of social surroundings; he not only paid much attention to scientific and technical education, but also to developping students’ abilities of logical thinking; he put forward a moral thought that people should integrate justice with benefit when he was doing something;he advocated this kind of moral custom that people should always be true in word and resolute in deed and be ready to take up the cudgels for a just cause; he promoted that the criterion for judging actions should be subjective intention (motive) and its social effect; teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and doing teachers’ best to have students developped quickly were the kinds of teaching methods he stressed.更多还原
