【Abstract】 This paper expounds the mechanism of insulators contamination flashover and the principle of leakage current monitor.The system adopts the way of monitoring on line and analysing without line. In order to improve comunication interference rejection, it adopts the way of infrared data communication. It chooses flash memory as its memory access, which improves the reliability of the data memory,and it can be applied in fieldwork.
