【Abstract】 The sea surface microlayer is a thin layer, which has significant different physical, chemical and biological characteristics from those in subsurface seawater. It is the interface through which the substances and energy must pass when exchanging between the ocean and the atmosphere. The microlayer is known to concentrate, to varying degrees, many chemicals such as nutrient elements, organic compounds, trace metals and microorganisms. In this paper, the major research results were reviewed and new subjects for further study, such as complexing capacity, colloidal particle and size-fractionated chl a were proposed.更多还原
