双侧嗅球切除对大鼠行为和睡眠的影响
Effects of olfactory bulbectomy on behaviour and REM sleep in rats
【摘要】 目的:采用嗅球切除大鼠作为模拟人类抑郁症的动物模型进行行为和睡眠特征的观察。方法:用嗅球切除法建立动物模型,观察大鼠的行为变化和睡眠特征。结果:①嗅球切除大鼠的快眼动睡眠时间总量、快眼动睡眠的发生次数、单个快眼动睡眠的平均持续时间比对照组均显著增加(P<0.05);②行嗅球切除术后给大鼠连续肌注抗抑郁剂氯丙咪嗪,可有效地抑制动物的部分行为异常和快眼动睡眠持续时间的增加(P<0.05)。结论:嗅球切除的大鼠有类似人类抑郁症的特征性睡眠改变。
【Abstract】 Objective: Polysomnographic recordings and behavioural changes in an animal models of depression have been examined in the pre- sent study.Methods:The model was prepared by olfactory bulbectomy(OB) of rats,effects of OB on sleep and behaviour were investigated. Results: OB induced obvious abnormalities in REM sleep:significantly increaced REM%,numbers of REM sleep period and average duration of REM sleep episodes (P < 0.05) .Anti-depressant agent clomipamine(CLI) inhibited the above mentioned alterations induced by OB.Conclusion:These re- sults suggested that OB rats have marked abnormalities of REM sleep measures analogous to human depression.
