【Abstract】 The Cleonus piger ，according to study and investigation, there are two generations one year in the Mudanjiang area, Heilongjiang province. The pupae, which passed the winter, emerge to adult beetles in the mid-May. The adults lay eggs in the early-June. The eggs hatch larvae in the late-June. The larvae change to pupae in the late-July and then the first generation adult beetles occur in the field by the late-August. The eggs of the second generation can be seen in the early-September, and the larvae occur in the mid-September.
