【Abstract】 Colleges and universities in China are facing great challenge from knowledge cconomy era,thus producing new demand for the training of qualified personnel.This paper puts forth the special connotation of the quality education in colleges and universities,and points out that the key to carrying out quality education in colleges and universities is to promote the comprehensive quality of the teachers contingent,and the correspondent solutions are also mentioned.
