用(γ,n)反应生产放射性药物123I的研究

【摘要】 从理论和实验上对光核反应生成放射性药物23I进行了研究,给出了有关124Xe(γ,n)123Xe→123I的理论计算公式和计算结果。描述了利用合肥国家同步辐射实验室200MeV电子直线加速器的束流和在其末端建立的实验装置。文中给出了实验得到的反应产物的放射性活度、γ射线的谱图以及化学纯度分析结果。实验结果表明:若用纯的124Xe进行生产,在该加速器上经两个半小时照射,将可得到18.5GBq以上的123I药物。

【Abstract】 The production of 123I via photonuclear reactions has been studied both theoretically and experimentally. A facility for producing 123I by photonuclear reaction on natural xenon at an electron linac of 200MeV in National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, USTC was established and described in the paper. Some research results, such as the 123I yield, γ -ray spectrum of iodine isotopes, nuclear purity, and chemical purity, were given. The experimental results show that 123I yield of 18.5GBq will be possible if average current is increased to 6 u A. a pure 124Xe (100%) target is used instead of the natural xenon and the gas target thickness reaches to 6g/cm2.
