【Abstract】 The anthors analyse the channel’s characters of low voltage grid (fading character,time variance and noise character),and formed an abstract cabstract carrier channel model. Using this as its basis,an automatic meter reading system based on power line modem for low voltage is designed,adopting transmission technology combining the spread spectrum modulation with channel coding.
