石墨与GIC电极在硫酸溶液中的循环伏安特性
Cyclic voltammetry performance of graphite and graphite intercalation electrodes in H2SO4 solutions
【摘要】 为深入认识石墨与石墨层间化合物 (GIC)在H2 SO4 溶液中电化学嵌入 /脱嵌行为及有关影响因素 ,探讨其作为二次电池电极材料的可能性 ,进行了循环伏安 (CV)测量与充、放电实验 .结果表明 ,H2 SO4 的浓度对两种电极的嵌入 /脱嵌容量、极化大小以及过氧化物的生成等均有较大影响 ;在H2 SO4 浓度相同时 ,石墨比GIC显示了更大的嵌入 /脱嵌容量 ,但反应中极化明显增大 ,而石墨的过氧化虽使容量增大 ,但可逆性变差 ,同时H2 SO4 浓度的增加也使过氧化反应极化降低
【Abstract】 CV and charging/discharging measurements of graphite and GIC electrodes in H 2SO 4 solutions of different concentration were carried out to study the behavior of graphite and GIC electrodes in H 2SO 4 solutions during electrochemical intercalation/deintercalation processes and the related influencing factors, and the possibility of their use as electrode materials for second batteries is discussed. Results show that the concentration of H 2SO 4 solutions affected appreciably the capacity of intercalation/deintercalation, the degree of polarization and the formation of graphite peroxide of these two kinds of electrodes. The capacity of intercalation/deintercalation of graphite electrode was larger than that of GIC ones but the polarization was increased during reaction. The peroxidation of graphite increased the capacity but the reversibility decreased, and the increase of the concentration of H 2SO 4 solutions decreased the polarization of peroxidation.
