【Abstract】 This paper describes the details about Gas Assisted Injection Molding (GAIM) process and instrument, and describes the main advantages and faults of GAIM. This paper also summarizes the development of usage and research on GAIM technology, and presents our study on GAIM instrument and technology. There is much difference between GAIM technology and traditional injection molding, such as instrument and operation, design of parts and molds, and process parameters, etc. Thus, well understanding and digesting GAIM technology is the only way to make full use of it in production.更多还原
