【Abstract】 The phenyl of p n propylbenzoic acid could be reducted by sodium alkoxide. The composition of products was different with the change of alcohol solvent, reaction time, and the quantity of sodium. The quantity of entirely reduced product decreased with the increasing acidity of alcohol. For n pentanol, the composition of the products remained constant when the quantity of sodium was enough.更多还原
