【Abstract】 Aim\ To research the application of the abrasive belt grinding on the lathe. Methods\ According to the principle and characters of abrasive belt grinding, a special device has been designed. Results\ On the lathe, precision machining of long and thin shafts with coated abrasive belt grinding device is realized. It can effectively reduce the surface roughness of workpieces and increase the machining precision. The technological advantage has been proved.
