【Abstract】 Currently hybrid fiber coax (HFC) CATV networks are mainly applied to broadcasting television. There are a lot of frequency bands to be spared. In this paper a code division multiple access (CDMA) based bidirectional communication system for HFC CATV networks, which has high speed property and bi directional capability is described. To realize access in the system, a multiple access scheme based on CDMA can be used. Compared to a system based on time division multiple access (TDMA), the use of CDMA offers to main advantage-resistant to narrowband noise sources.更多还原
