自然对流对于熔体生长中小面化的影响
EFFECTS OF CONVECTION ON FACETING DURING DIRECTIONAL MELT GROWTH PROCESSES
【摘要】 应用基于边界保角变换技术的Galerkin有限元方法 ,研究熔体生长中动力学效应和自然对流的耦合作用 ,探究了对流对生长系统中的温场分布、相界面形状以及界面过冷度的影响 .研究结果表明 :自然对流可使相界面的弯曲度减小 ,界面的相对位置降低 .同时 ,对流使得小面端点处的夹角变得圆滑 ,小面域和粗糙面域的界线变得不明显 ,相应地 ,小面尺寸有所减小 .
【Abstract】 In this paper, a finite element method, based on the boundary conformal mapping technique, is employed in the study of the coupling effects of natural convection and interface kinetics during directional melt growth of single YAG crystals. The influence of convection on thermal distribution, melt/crystal interface shape, and interfacial undercooling of the growth system is investigated. The temperature gradient in the vicinity of the melt/crystal interface becomes large, and the interface shape becomes relatively flat in the presence of strong melt convection. In addition, The corners between the facet region and off-facet region become relatively smooth under convection ef_fect, and correspondingly, the facet size decreases a little compared with the result without melt convection.
