【Abstract】 The testing principle of an opto electronic colorimeter is given in brief. According to Luther condition, the basic formulas to calculate spectral transmittance for designing color filter are given. Taking the thickness of the filter as an independent variable, the filter is optimized by using three evaluation functions: least area of total error, least square and minimal dispersion.
