【摘要】 系统地研究了不同掺杂浓度的 Yb:YAG晶体的光谱特性 ,通过吸收光谱的测量计算了晶体的吸收截面 ,用对易法计算了晶体的发射截面。在 Yb:YAG晶体毛坯中发现 Yb2 +和色心 ,其浓度随 Yb:YAG晶体中 Yb3+ 的增加而增加。经 140 0℃氧气氛退火后消失。首次用光子激发和 X射线激发研究了 Yb:YAG晶体的荧光特性。

【Abstract】 The absorption and emission properties of Yb: YA G with different Yb- 3+ doped concentration have been studied systematically .The emission cross section has been evaluated using the absorption cross sectio n and principle of reciprocity,which was consistent with previous reports.The ab sorption spectra of Yb- 2+ and color center were observed in as-grown Yb:Y AG boules,which are removed by annealing the boules in oxygen at 1 300 ℃ for 24 h.The photon excited and X-ray excited optical luminescence of Yb:YAG were fi rst discussed.The results indicated that Yb:YAG crystal was favourable for high -power diode-pumping.
