【Abstract】 The development of the Party’s religious policy has experienced three stages since 1978. First, the renewing stage (1978-1982), in which “freedom in religious belief” as the core of the policy was restated by the CPC. Second, the perfecting stage (1983--1991), in which the principle of “strengthening the administration of religious activities by law” was established. Third, the developing stage (since 1992), in which, according to the developing situation, the important policy of “actively guiding religion to adapt to the socialist society” has been made.更多还原
