【Abstract】 The use of Raman spectroscopy to identify gem has attracted the attention of increasing number of gemologists. We report the Raman spectra of a collection of gems, jades, synthetic gems, and precious gem substitutes. These spectra form the set of standard spectra in gem identification. We also discuss several issues related to gem identification with Raman spectroscopy. These Raman spectra can be used for future gem evaluation and gem identification.更多还原
