【Abstract】 A thermophilic UAHB (Upflow Anaerobic Hybrid Bed) reactor was used for treatment of wastewater from corn ethanol production. The test results showed that the loading rate could reach 20 kgCOD/(m 3·d) with COD removal efficiency of over 90%, and degradation of organic nitrogen of 85%. The UAHB reactor was stable in operation and satisfactory in performance. The study is beneficial to the treatment of high strength wastewater in China.更多还原
