【Abstract】 In this paper, some problems about breeding aim, source and combination of hybrid respective parents, and traits selection of progeny of spring millet in the west of Liaoning Province are discussed, in accordance with natural resources and millet production situation. Millet breeding objects are to be adjusted according to the requirement of society, paying attention to breeding of high quality millet based on high yield, high disease resistance, and high adaptability. Millet yield can be increased greatly by ideotype breeding and raising the efficiency of energy conversion.更多还原
