【Abstract】 The Surface Evolver,as a universal software tool.was written in program C based on the minimal energy theory and the finite element analysis method for the purpose of solving the general problems in surface formation process.In materials science research,it can not only be used to determine the surface shape and the stability,but can also be used to calculate the value of force and the energy of surface.Several examples are present in this paper in order to demonstrate the using of Surface Evolver in materials science research.更多还原
