【摘要】 提出了一种基于小波包分解的复杂度可分级的音频编码算法。该算法对信号进行复杂度可分级的不完全小波包分解 ,并充分利用人耳的听觉特性和不同子带间小波系数的相关性对系数进行零树编码。不仅可在低码率上获得透明质量的重构信号 ,而且具有复杂度可分级编、解码和多码率可分级编码的功能 ,可在具有不同计算能力的计算机上实时实现音频编码和解码。

【Abstract】 A complexity scalability audio coding algorithm based on wavelet packet decomposition is proposed. The incomplete wavelet packet decomposition which is of complexity scalability to the signals is proceeded in this paper. Otherwise, the zerotree coding to the coefficients is implemented which sufficiently uses the characteristics of human ears and the self similarity among different subband wavelet coefficients. This algorithm cannot only be used to achieve transparent quality reconstruction audio at low bit rate, but also be able to support complexity scalable encoding, decoding and multirate scalable coding. Audio encoding and decoding can be realized in real time through this algorithm on the computers with various capability of computation. The experiment results indicate that this algorithm is of practical value in the real time multimedia applications.
