【Abstract】 The paper argues against the proposition that the d ifferent interpretations of six categories of Chinese characters by Xu She n(许慎), Ban Gu(班固) and Zheng Zong(郑众) in the Han Dynasty result from their different standpoints, philospher’s, h istorian’s and researcher’s, respectively. The proposition is not convincing, be cause of inaccurate and insufficient literature, partial judgement of standpoint s and some improper expositions.更多还原
