【摘要】对于芯区为克尔型非线性介质、覆盖层和衬底为线性介质的平板波导 ,用雅可比椭圆函数表达芯区场强分布 ,给出了 TE模的色散方程、场强及功率的数学表达式 ,改正了已有文献 [1 ] 计算式及结果的几处差错 ,给出了典型实例的正确数据和曲线 ,所得结果的正确性已采用数值分析法进行核验。更多还原

【Abstract】 Characteristic analysis of TE waves in nonlinear planar waveguides with Kerr-type core is analyzed by using Jacobi el liptic function.Dispersion equation,formulas for dependence of field distributio n optical power on modal index are given.Errors in a published paper [1] are corrected.Correct data and curves are given for a typical example.Our result s have been carefully checked by methods of numerical methods of analysis.更多还原
