【Abstract】 The safety device must be designed according to the lifting moment and rated capacity indexes. The deficiencies of two kinds of limiters now widely used on domestic tower cranes are analyzed in the article. It is pointed out that there is no standard about limiters on tower cranes, and the author appealed to quality inspection and industry management organizations to work out the industrial standard for limiters on tower cranes. The performance indexes and product quality of these limiters must be strictly controlled to improve the operational reliability of tower cranes.更多还原
